Travel within Hobart

Hobart has taxis, Ubers, buses and hire cars. Note that there is no parking at the Forum venue but it is within easy walking distance of all hotels and forum venues in central Hobart and on a major bus route.

SkyBus

SkyBus departs the airport every 30 minutes daily, 7 days a week.

Tickets are available online through the SkyBus website. Alternatively, you can purchase tickets at the e-kiosks located next to the luggage carousels at the airport. SkyBus tickets can also be purchased from drivers at any of the pickup stops. Please see SkyBus for all current fares.

At the airport the buses stop outside the arrivals hall forecourt (Gate 1), to the right of the yellow bus shelter. After collecting your luggage exit the nearest set of doors.

Uber

Uber operates in Hobart.

Taxis

You can book a taxi pick up from a set location, or take one from a taxi rank at signposted spots. You may also hail a taxi in the street. If the rooftop lamp is lit, the taxi is usually unoccupied and available for hire.
